WASHINGTON D.C.: Crime Emergency
WASHINGTON D.C. seems to become dangerous these days, people get killed...Until the point that the District of Columbia's police chief (Charles Ramsey) declared a crime emergency situation state.
This month, 14 people have been killed already. It's a very sad situation. Some British activist were killed too.
Armed assault have jumped to 18%.
The emergency situation will put more police officers in the hot areas.
Tourist where robbed just after Charles Ramsey's declaration.

So if you leave in washington (or anywhere in the world), I advise you:
1) Not to be in these hot crime areas,
2) Stay away from them, specially during the night.
Also, when you move, try to be with someone else.
3) Avoid top be alone in dark places for a long time.
4) Be very vigilent (do you remember the first tip: your EYES)
5) Always have your mobile phone
6) Say to someone where you are going (husband, wife, friends...)
Remember: Prevention, prevention and prevention.
One major rule: You don't want to expose yourself to critical situations. Only if you do not have the choice.
Choose to affront will and must be the last situation regardless of your skills and levels, you never know which day will be the last one...
Take Care and observe what's hapenning around you, stay awake.
