Kids Self defense classes

Coral Gables Police have started a series of self-defense classes for kids. A lot of these classes and other talk with small children are held by policemen in every part of the US.

It is a really good initiative, and it develop a contact and a kind of trust between children and police.

Children should be taught about risks, robbers... They must be aware of that, and not stay and live on dreams only. Awareness must start at the early beginning.

Personaly, I always play with my children, but during the game, I am making sure that they develop natural defensive reflexes, that will be useful later to protect themselves.

I've never taught them, but they seem to like the Run like a mad technique... That's great, they know that when there is DANGER, they must run fast, and get out of there.

If you observe the nature, you will see that all the creation is acting like that. I think it is natural, and as responsible of our child, we must show them every aspectof the life the'll have to assume soon.
